Special Events

Held annually on the first Saturday in February, this gala includes an evening of delicious cuisine, live music and dancing, auctions, and, of course, much enjoyment. The money raised from the Mardi Gras Gala goes towards the St. Ann's Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund has helped St. Ann's Catholic School grow and flourish over the years—not through tuition, but through generosity from our extended community.

The St. Ann's Catholic School Educational Endowment Fund, established in 1985, was created to assist in meeting the current and future financial needs of St. Ann's School, as well as to raise funds to subsidize the operations of St. Ann's School in order to keep tuition costs lower. Interest earned from the St. Ann's Endowment Fund is distributed annually into the general operations account to help offset operation expenses for St. Ann's Catholic School.

Run entirely by volunteers, the annual St. Ann's Family Fair has become a tradition loved by not only the school and parish but Midland community! The Fair consists of Family Fun Park, over 50 food and game booths, smoke-free bingo, Fun Run, and many more fun activities for the entire family, benefiting St. Ann's Catholic School.

Each month, we invite families to come eat a delicious Hot Dog Lunch with their students. Proceeds from Hot Dog Days go toward Saints in Action, our parent-school Organization dedicated to helping see special projects to fruition. Students are welcome to wear jeans and a St. Ann's spirit shirt on these days. Come join us the second Friday of every month!

We're delighted to introduce you to our beloved St. Ann's Catholic School fundraiser - The Community Party! These monthly gatherings, hosted by our wonderful families, strengthen our school community and support upgrades and programs.Your involvement and donations help our PTO reach fundraising goals faster. Thank you for your
enthusiastic support!

Students are invited to show their school spirit by wearing a St. Ann's t-shirt with jeans. Some spirit days are in conjunction with Hot Dog Days.

Held on the Feast of St. Francis, students and their families are invited to bring their pet(s) to the school grounds for a special blessing in honor of the patron Saint of animals.

Themed dress up days help St. Ann's students understand the importance alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness. The campaign is observed annually in October throughout the United States.

Third grade students host Mass and a living wax museum for fellow students and parishioners to learn about the life of a Saint in our church

Our Talent Show celebrates the vibrant gifts of our students. Children from every grade take the stage to showcase their unique skills, creativity, and confidence in a joyful community event.

St. Ann's Catholic School hosts a lively parade and other special treats for those who've served on Veteran's Day.

CSW consists of several appreciation events highlighting all the people and entities that make Catholic education possible. It's held the last week of January. 

Our St. Ann's family loves to show support for our school teams with an annual pep rally during school!

Our P.T.O. meets once a month to collaborate with administration. They assist in the creation, planning, and implementation of projects that help our school. Check out their Facebook Page!

Men of Virtue Engaged, or MOVE, is an organization that allows men to take an active role in making our school environment the best that it can be. This group of fathers,
uncles, male guardians, and grandfathers gather in fellowship to socialize and have fun while performing duties that support St. Ann's Catholic School. Through volunteering time and talent on a united front, this group is a great opportunity to help our wonderful school be the best it can be, while putting our children in the best possible environment.

Whether you're assisting in the library, helping with projects in the classroom or in the office, or organizing special events at the school, there's plenty of ways to help around campus. St. Ann's also hosts many fundraisers throughout the year. We are always looking for amazing volunteers Monthly Hot Dog Days, the annual Family Fair, and Mardi Gras Gala are a few great opportunities to work with fellow St. Ann's families in a joint effort to benefit the school.

Part of our school's mission is to join with families to build character. As we have started reinstating the great events and traditions that St. Ann's has to offer, our school is eager to engage in campus activities and acts of service toward one another, our church, and our community. Our Family Service Hours program is a great way to encourage a school culture of parents and families who engage more in our activities, take pride in our school, and ultimately raise our children to have hearts for service. We ask families to serve in various ways that will help the campus, enrich relationships with one another, and help the community. 20 Family Service Hours will be asked of each family, and can include a variety of opportunities such as school maintenance projects, classroom project, recess monitoring, organizing the uniform closet, attending school meetings and more. We look forward to growing together as a school community!
